The PC Gamer’s new MacbookPro review, the latest in our new-and-improved PC reviews series, is here.
If you’re looking for an overview of what the new model is all about, here’s our full review: The Macbookpro is an upgrade over the previous model.
Apple finally managed to get rid of the original’s hard drive, replaced it with an SSD, and made a new optical drive in the form of an M.2 slot.
It’s also got a new display, a bigger battery, and new USB ports.
The main downside to this new model of the Macbook is the lack of a Thunderbolt port, though it can be used as a replacement with the Thunderbolt 2 ports found in most current MacBooks.
Still, you get a ton of ports, including Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.0, USB-C, two more USB 3 ports, a headphone jack, and two more speakers.
You’ll also find a 3D Touch-enabled fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-A port, and a mini-DisplayPort to HDMI connector.
If your Macbook already had a Thunderbolt 3 port, you’ll be able to get a 3G adapter that’ll let you connect your laptop to your TV, which should be a great upgrade.
But if you have a MacBook Pro with a Thunderbolt 4 port, this adapter will also work.
The new model will come with Apple’s new Thunderbolt DisplayPort, and you can get a $119.99 upgrade to get that display.
You can also upgrade the Mac to a Thunderbolt 2 port for $129.99.
There’s also a 3rd-party adapter for $39.99 that allows you to use your MacBook Pro as a Thunderbolt display.
