Samsung’s next big foray into the U, its biggest market yet, is getting ready to debut in North America with the arrival of its latest computer tower.
The company said it’s making a $1,500 computer tower called the K5.
It will be available at select retailers starting Friday, and it’ll be $1K cheaper than the previous model.
The K5 will be powered by Intel’s latest quad-core Core i5-7300U processor.
That chip is currently the most powerful desktop processor on the market.
It’ll feature an AMD Ryzen processor, 8GB of RAM, and an SSD that’s said to be up to 5TB.
It’ll also have a 5K display, and a 15.6-inch diagonal.
For the consumer, Samsung is selling the K6 computer tower at a price of $1.3K, and the K7 computer tower is slated to debut on June 27.
The K5 and K6 will be $999 and $1M, respectively.
Samsung has said the K10 computer tower would cost $1B, and that it would be ready to ship to U.K. retailers in November.
The latest version of the K3 computer tower was announced last year, but the company has yet to reveal pricing for the next version of its computer.
