The NHL has announced that it will purchase the headgear maker Nascar, valued at $500 million.
Nascar was founded in the late 1950s, and the company’s business model is still very much in place today.
But the company has been making some innovations, including the NASCAR Smart Headset.
The Smart Headsets have been popular with drivers since the mid-2000s, but this year the NHL has joined the race, and it will be getting some of the most advanced technology ever created for the sport.
Nasdaq composite stock fell 2.6% to $26.70.NHL hockey coach Pat Quinn was a fan of the Nascar Smart Headphones for years.
In an interview with CNBC in 2017, Quinn said, “I’ve been a Nascar fan since I was a little kid.
I’ve been on the road with them.”
